At just 19 years old, Eliecha Zoe Diaz Malilay—better known as Yca—has been making a name for herself in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Training for four years, she has already reached the rank of Purple Belt under the guidance of Luis Carreno, Gustavo Munoz, and Meggie Ochoa. Representing Atrixion MMA, JJFP, and Solas Jiu-Jitsu, she has consistently proven herself on the mats, taking on elite competition both locally and internationally. One of her proudest moments was winning a world championship in No-Gi and representing her country on the global stage.

Yca’s competitive career is decorated with standout performances, solidifying her as one of the top young athletes in the sport. She is an 8x UAEJJF / AJP International Pro Gold Medalist, demonstrating her skill and consistency at the highest level. In 2022, she secured gold medals at the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam International Tour and the Abu Dhabi World Pro Championship. Most recently, she added to her achievements by winning gold in No-Gi and bronze in the Gi division at the 2024 JJIF Youth World Championship in Greece, proudly representing the Philippines. Her dedication to training and competition continues to drive her toward excellence.

Beyond her achievements, Yca maintains a packed training schedule, balancing competition classes, strength and conditioning, and drilling sessions. She also finds joy outside of training through crocheting, reading books, and writing. Her discipline and passion fuel her motivation to keep improving, and she remains committed to pushing her limits every day.
