At just 17 years old, Arleo "Leon" Magtibay carries his 10 years of training experience with humility, viewing the sport as a means to build connections with people in order to improve each other and achieve a common goal. Training under Prof. Carlo Pena, Leon continues to rack up wins in local and international competitions. His standout performances include Gold JJAU Southeast Asia Regionals 2025, Gold Batang Pinoy 2024, and Silver JJFP National Trials 2025. 

As a student athlete, Leon looks to maintain balance while prioritizing his studies and getting in as much work as he can in the gym. To him, growth isn't linear, but consistency in his daily life pushes him closer towards his goals despite having a good or bad day. 

Leon deeply resonates with Hyperfly's You Can’t Teach Heart. As he pushes beyond his limits in training, he overcomes adversity with the belief that his love of the process allows him to show up every day and get the work done. He continues pushing forward, using challenges in his daily life as a means to improve himself.
